| Honolulu Zoo, located on 42 acres at Kapiolani Park, is one of the largest zoos. The zoo features over 300 species of animals; lions, hippos, rhinoceroses, giraffes, zebras, tigers, tortoises, monkeys, and more. Honolulu Zoo also offers a rare behind-the-scenes look into the lives of zoo's animals. Honolulu Zoo is the only zoo in the United States that originated from a king’s grant. The Honolulu Zoo attracts more than 750,000 visitors each year. |

The popular spot for the kids is Children's Zoo which features sheep, donkey, pigs, and farm animals. The zoo has many spots for picnicking, and strollers are also available too.
