Hookipa Beach is the most well known
windsurfing beach in the world. Most surfers come here in
Winter. Keep in mind that the beach is for advanced surfers
due to strong currents and dangerous shorebreak. |

This beautiful and exciting beach is on the north shore of
Maui island, and just two miles east of the unique town of
Paia. Ho'okipa Beach is perfect for windsurfing because of
its large well-shaped waves and strong winds. The waves here
are strongest during the winter. During the summer the waves
are weaker and smaller.
