Waimea Canyon, located on the western side
of Kauai, is the largest canyon in the Pacific and truly a
dramatic site to see. The canyon is 10 miles long, 1 mile
wide, and more than 3,500-feet deep. This canyon is called
the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" by Mark Twain. |
You'll get great photos from every lookout you visit. But
Waimea Canyon Overlook gives you the best view of
the canyon. Each view of the canyon is stunning. And that's
why it's one of Kauai's premier attractions.
