Kilauea Crater is the heart of the Hawaii
Volcanoes National Park. If you are going to the Big Island,
you have to see the Kilauea Crater. It's much larger than
you ever imagined. There is a museum along the way which
offers some history of the Volcano. |
Water, sunscreen and suitable footgear are recommended before
heading out to see around the crater. The Crater offers a
spectacular view of lava and several volcanoes in the park.
